Who are you?
Karetai Wood-Bodley & Co is an Aotearoa-based consultancy founded by Rāwā and Frankie Karetai-Wood-Bodley. We help organisations embed equity, inclusion, and human-rights-based practices into their strategy, policy, and operations.

What does your business do?
We provide strategic advice, workshops, research, and leadership support that centre intersectionality, across disability, Māori and Pacific peoples, Rainbow LGBTI+ communities, and other diverse groups.

Where are you located?
We’re based in Waitaha, Canterbury, and work across Aotearoa New Zealand, with the ability to connect internationally through online and in-person sessions, as well as partnerships.

To create systems and spaces where everyone, whānau, communities, and organisations, can thrive with dignity, mana, and belonging.

Fees vary depending on scope and duration. We believe in transparency and provide clear, written quotes before any project begins.

Do you travel for in-person engagements?
Yes, we travel throughout Aotearoa, New Zealand and overseas. Travel costs are discussed and agreed upon in advance.

Can you present at conferences or events?
Yes. We regularly speak at national and international conferences, hui, and corporate events on equity, inclusion, leadership, and storytelling.

How do you protect personal information?
All data collected through our site is managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. We store information securely within a New Zealand-based Google Workspace tenancy and use it only for the purpose for which you have given your consent.

Yes, our team contributes to national and international initiatives advancing disability equity, Rainbow inclusion, and maternal health, as well as Te Ao Māori. We also co-produce community storytelling projects and documentaries.
