Trans and Pregnant – KASHISH 2025 Official Selection Poster

We’re thrilled to share some fabulous news — Trans and Pregnant has been officially selected to screen at the KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, taking place from 4–8 June 2025 in Mumbai, India!

This incredible honour marks another milestone in our journey to bring authentic, affirming stories of trans and non-binary parenthood to audiences around the world. KASHISH is South Asia’s biggest LGBTQ+ film festival and has long stood as a beacon for queer cinema that is bold, intersectional, and transformative.

In a world that can often feel isolating and unsafe for trans and non-binary whānau, festivals like KASHISH are vital. They don’t just screen films — they amplify voices, spark conversations, and celebrate resilience. They remind us that there is space, joy, and pride in being exactly who we are.

We’re deeply grateful to the KASHISH team for offering a platform where stories like ours — of aroha, identity, loss, healing, and whānau — can be seen and heard across borders.

To our trans, non-binary, takatāpui, and queer communities: this moment is for you. Visibility matters. Your stories matter. You matter.

Mumbai, here we come!
